Good Afternoon,

It is pumpkin season! This year the library will be holding its 10th annual Halloween Party, show off your costumes, play games and collect candy while picking out a new scary story to take home. We will also be holding two candy labs for older kids, learn to make monster marshmallows and custom candy bars during these hands-on workshops. Take home crafts this month will feature spooky creatures such as ghosts, spiders and jack-o-lanterns. Boo!

Take Home Crafts
Day and Time: New weekly available for Monday through Friday
Location: Ogdensburg Public library, pick up at the front desk
Description: A new spooky craft available for pickup each week.

Music and Movement
Day: Tuesdays
Time: 11:00 am
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: A preschool movement and socialization class. Jump your jiggles out and wiggle your waggles away with music, instruments and sensory play.
Ages 18 months – 4 years

Story Time
Day: Thursdays
Time: 11:00 am
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Stories, activities and crafts for young children. Socialize, gain early literacy skills and learn to love books during this preschool program.
Ages 2-6

Candy Labs
Oct 4 – Custom Candy Bars
Oct 18 – Monster Marshmallows
Time: 5:00pm
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Mad scientists will learn to make their own sweet monstrosities during this free workshop.

Comic Club
Day: Oct 11
Time: 4:30 pm

Description: Want to talk comics? Learn to draw comics? Share recommendations? Checkout Comic Club!

Halloween Party

Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: The 10th annual library Halloween party, trick-or-treat in the library, play games, show off your costume and do crafts!

Fishing Gear Checkout
The library loans out fishing gear. Fishing equipment can be checked out by children and adults (those 16 years and older must have a fishing license) You can keep fishing items for up to one week.
