Yes, you will need a North Country Library System Card (available at Public Libraries in St. Lawrence, Lewis, Oswego and Jefferson County) if you wish to check out materials from the library. You will need to present your card at the time of check out each time.
If it is your first card in the North Country Library System signing up is free. You can register online here.
If you have had one before it will cost $2.00 to replace if you are an adult and $1.00 for children 5-14 years of age.
If you need a card, bring a valid form of photo ID to the library and fill out a short registration form.
