Hiring A Building Maintenance Supervisor
The Ogdensburg Public Library is hiring a building maintenance supervisor.
The Ogdensburg Public Library is a municipal library serving the city of Ogdensburg and the surrounding areas, as it has since 1893 when it was chartered by New York State. The library is housed in an historic building in Library Park on the shore of the St. Lawrence River in St. Lawrence County, New York. The library is a community hub offering a diverse selection of media, technology services, programs for children, teens, and adults, as well as public meeting space. The Friends of the Library group actively supports the library through fund raising, volunteering, and operating a used bookstore.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications
Two years general building maintenance with some supervisory experience Experience with masonry, carpentry, painting, window, door, floor, and wall repair
Clean NYS driver’s license
Good physical condition
Dependable

Responsibilities
Performs a variety of building repair and maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to: interior and exterior cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and restrooms; grounds maintenance and snow removal; some masonry, carpentry, and painting; basic plumbing; trash and recycle removal
