You may place a hold using our North Country Library System App

- Log into the app with your library card number and PIN number (last 4 digits of the phone number we have on file, though we do encourage you to reset this after your first sign in)
- Tap “eBooks & eAudio” and search for your book. This will bring up eBooks, eAudio books and physical items.
- Tap the book in the edition you wish to receive.
- Tap PLACE HOLD.
Make sure the library selected as your pick up library is the one you wish to pick up at. If not, choose the appropriate library from the drop down menu. - Tap PLACE HOLD again.
- If the screen shows “North Country Libraries Hold placed” you have completed your portion of the hold process.
At the bottom of the screen the it will show what libraries own the item and their status (for example, Available, Checked out, In Transit)
How to place a hold: (Option 2)
You may place a hold using our website:
- Go to: https://ogdkiosk-ncls.na3.iiivega.com/ (for Ogdensburg items ONLY) or https://ncls.na3.iiivega.com/ for ALL NCLS items
- Click on Login or 👤
- Enter your Library card # and PIN (last 4 digits of the phone number we have on file, though we do encourage you to reset this after your first sign in)
- Find the item you want to place a hold on and tap “Place Hold”
Make sure the library selected as your pick up library is the one you wish to pick up at. If not, choose the appropriate library from the drop down menu. - Tap PLACE HOLD again.
- If the screen shows “North Country Libraries Hold placed” you have completed your portion of the hold process.
At the bottom of the screen the it will show what libraries own the item and their status (for example, Available, Checked out, In Transit)
