Ogdensburg Public Library accepts donations of books and media materials in good condition.  These will either go on our shelves or into our next book sale.  We also accept monetary donations.  Let us know if you’d like to “adopt an item” we don’t have on our shelves.  We appreciate any amount!

Volunteer your time!  Have a skill you’d like to teach the community? Ask about setting up a program here at the library.  We also welcome regular volunteers to help with special projects.  Please contact the library for more information.

One of the best things you can do for us is simply talk about how important the library is to you.  Talk to your friends, your family, your congressperson.  Tell them about the programs we offer, the books you read, our free computer access . . . anything that’s been significant to you.  You never know whose mind you might change!

Talk to us, too, in person or through email – particularly if you think of a need we might be able to meet.  We won’t know what you want until you tell us!  While times have put restraints on our finances, we are always open to new ideas.

Consider buying one of our cookbooks.  They’re available at the Remington Museum gift shop and Pickens General Store in Heuvelton for $15, or at the library for the special holiday price of $10.   If you are out of the area or want to send one to someone who is, we’ve also listed copies on Amazon.com for $18 + shipping ($22 total.)
