Coming to Ogdensburg Public Library May 2022

Good Afternoon,

          It is starting to warm up and everyone is ready to get outside! The library will be offering two book walks to help you get outside and enjoy library park. We will also begin having Music and Movement outside on days where the weather allows. We also have fishing poles and tackle ready for checkout!

Programs

Take Home Crafts

Day and Time: Weekly pickup anytime the library is open

Location: Ogdensburg Public library

Description: A craft to take home and complete. Each kit will contain materials and instructions to help you make a craft.

Music and Movement

Day: Tuesdays 

Time: 11:00 am

Location: Ogdensburg Public Library

Description: A preschool movement and socialization class. Jump your jiggles out and wiggles your waggles away with music, instruments and sensory play.

Ages 2-5

Story Time

Day: Thursdays

Time: 11:00 am

Location: Ogdensburg Public Library

Description: Stories, activities and crafts for young children. Socialize, gain early literacy skills and learn to love books during this preschool program. Ages 3-5

Afterschool Movies

Day: Wednesday

Description: A safe place to hang out and enjoy a movie after school.

Description: Walk around library park and read this week’s book about community coming together to clean up litter and make a garden. Crafts available inside the library to take home after the story.

Book Walk – Monster Trouble! By Lane Fredrickson

Date: May 31 – June 3

Time: All Day    

Location: Ogdensburg Public Library

Description: Walk around library park and read this week’s book about a little girl taking care of her monster problem. Crafts available inside the library to take home after the story.

Fishing Gear Checkout

          The library will now be loaning out fishing gear. Fishing equipment can be checked out by children and adults (those 16 years and older must have a fishing license) You can keep fishing items for up to one week.
