Coming to Ogdensburg Public Library September 2025

Good Afternoon,
The Ogdensburg Public Library is continuing science days this September with measurement! Kids ages 7 and up can learn to use different measurement tools to earn a degree. Younger kids can join us for Story Time and Movement and Movement to help develop early literacy skills and socialization. Those returning to school or homeschool can make monsters out of clay to protect their school work on Sept 10.

Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

Bookstore Hours
Now Open during all library hours!
Classical Inklings Book Club Join us as we read and discuss literature, history, archeology, sciences, and linguistics. We will look at both classics and the modern works derived from them. September's book to have read by September 17 is "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll" meeting will be in the conference room at 4:15 pm on September 17.
Programs
Take Home Crafts
Day and Time: Available for pickup during library hours.
Location: Ogdensburg Public library, pick up at the front desk
Description: A new craft to pick up and finish at home each week.

Music and Movement
Day: Tuesdays, no Music and Movement Sept 16
Time: 11:00 am
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: A preschool movement and socialization class. Jump your jiggles out and wiggle your waggles away with music, instruments and sensory play.
Ages 18 months – 4 years

Story Time
Day: Thursdays, no Story Time Sept 18
Time: 11:00 am
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Stories, activities and crafts for young children. Socialize, gain early literacy skills and learn to love books during this preschool program.
Ages 2-5

S.T.E.A.M Lab Day: Measurement
Day: Sept 24 and 27
Time: Stop in anytime all day
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Complete 5 fun lab experiments around the library to earn your official degree in Measurement.
Ages: 7 and up

Locker Monsters
Day: Sept 10
Time: 5:00 pm
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Make a monster to protect your locker.
Ages: 5-12

Classical Inklings
Day: Sept 17
Time: 4:15 pm
Location: Conference Room
Description: Read Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
