Coming to Ogdensburg Public Library January 2026

Good Afternoon,

    This January the library will be hosting events every Wednesday, starting with Learning to use chopsticks at our Ramen Bar! We will also be learning about electricity and playing with circuits for Steam Day! January is the perfect time for puzzles so on January 14 we will be hosting an all day all ages puzzle day, checkout our brain teasers, speed through the jigsaw puzzle races and solve the mystery of the stacks!

Mondays 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Wednesdays 11:30 am to 7:00 pm
Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday 9:30 – 1:00 pm

Take Home Crafts
Day and Time: Available for pickup during library hours.
Location: Ogdensburg Public library, pick up at the front desk
Description: A new craft to pick up and finish at home each week.

Music and Movement
Day: Tuesdays
Time: 11:00 am

Description: A preschool movement and socialization class. Jump your jiggles out and wiggle your waggles away with music, instruments and sensory play.
Ages 18 months – 4 years

Story Time
Day: Thursdays (Not January 1)
Time: 11:00 am
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Stories, activities and crafts for young children. Socialize, gain early literacy skills and learn to love books during this preschool program.
Ages 2-5

Ramen Bar – Learn to Use Chopsticks!
Day: January 7
Time: 5:00 pm
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Learn a skill and eat a snack! Already know how to use chopsticks? Pretend you are a prodigy and get a free snack!
Ages: 10-18

Puzzle Day
Day: January 14
Time: All Day
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: A Variety of puzzles for all ages available around the library. Everything from jigsaw puzzles to brain teasers even solve a mystery in the stacks!

Lego Time
Day: January 21
Time: 5:00 pm

Description: Solve a Lego Challenge!
Ages: 5-12

S.T.E.A.M Lab Day: Electricity
Day: January 28 and 31
Time: Stop in anytime all day
Location: Ogdensburg Public Library
Description: Five electrifying experiments.
